Transfer from another fostering agency
We care for our carers so they can take the best care of our children. Join our welcoming fostering community.
If you're fostering with another agency, we'd love you to join Foster with Bucks.
You can transfer to us within 4 months, with a simple 4 step process tailored for your needs. If you transfer with a placement, we'll match your current allowance.
Once you join our fostering community, our local team will support you every step of the way.
Why foster with us
We pride ourselves on finding the right matches for our children and foster carers, always prioritising placements with our own carers first. This helps children stay close to their community, school, family and friends, supporting their emotional wellbeing and stability.
By fostering with us, you help keep children in the places they know and love.
When you transfer to us, you become part of our tight-knit fostering community. We all share one thing, we care.

Financial support
We offer competitive financial allowances up to £29,000 plus £13,000 of perks and benefits and review them regularly. If you transfer with a placement, we'll match your allowance.
Allowances are reviewed on an individual basis to ensure you're fairly compensated for your hard work to help you provide the best care for our children.

Perks and benefits
We recognise the incredible work our foster carers do with a perks and benefits package worth over £13,000.
This includes Council Tax refunds, a holiday allowance, Merlin Platinum passes, free leisure activities, garden waste collection, free parking, bus travel, iPads and much more.

24/7 emergency support
We know that being a foster carer is a round-the-clock role, we're always here for you, day or night.
Our out-of-hours services offer both professional and emotional support 24/7. Our carers and their families can access specialist and 1-2-1 support.

Fostering community
When you foster with us, our welcoming local fostering community will support you and your family.
From our buddy system and Mockingbird 'constellations', to specialist support groups to our sons and daughters groups, we’re here for you.

Learning and development
Our courses are local, delivered by experts in their field and tailored to your schedule; from child protection and life story work to therapeutic parenting, digital skills and much more.
We give you the tools, skills and knowledge you need to care for our children.
