We value and care for our foster carers and recognise the amazing work they do. As well as financial allowances, we also offer a unique perks and benefits package worth up to £10,000.
You’ll be able to get our perks package if you're a:

Council Tax refund
Our foster carers can get a full Council Tax refund of previous year's payment if they are approved and foster for 182 days in a financial year.
Waste collections
Our foster carers can access free of charge upgrades like larger bins, annual garden waste subscription and up to 2 free bulky waste collections per year.
Gym memberships
Our foster carers are entitled to free memberships at participating leisure centres in Buckinghamshire.
Leisure experiences
Our foster families are entitled to free theatre tickets, annual passes at Bucks Museum and Roald Dahl Gallery as well as free events at Buckinghamshire country parks.
Parking and travel
Our foster carers can park for free in Buckinghamshire Council owned car parks, Buckinghamshire country parks as well as travelling for free on Carousel buses.
IT equipment and support
We will provide electronic devices for our foster carers to help you manage the administration associated with caring for our children.

Our foster carers can park for free in Buckinghamshire Council owned car parks as well as Buckinghamshire country parks, specifically:

The offer of free parking is available 7 days a week, subject to the opening times of each car park.
Bus travel
Our foster carers and their fostered children can get Carousel buses Smart Cards for free bus travel within Zones A to C which includes:
